Workshop on Cross-Scale Coupling in Plasmas
International collaboration session description
Multi-scale coupling is the next frontier of space plasma physics. It
poses challenges not only to our experimental approaches but also
theoretical thinking on how the plasma universe behaves. Scientific
communities and funding agencies in many countries are considering
innovative ways to tackle this fundamental problem. It is important
that current and future international efforts and initiatives are
coordinated so that maximum scientific results can be achieved. This
session solicits contributions that describe projects and initiatives
focused on multi-scale coupling in space plasmas from the
international community. It is expected that the exchange of
information and ideas will lead to scientific opportunities that
complement and enhance the scientific objectives of the Cross-Scale
mission.
